For this assignment, we talk about Breadboarding. A Breadboard has many connections. The top row for the positive power supple is linked horizontally and the bottom row for the negative power supple is also linked horizontally. The remaining holes are connected vertically in columns of five holes with no link across the gap across the horizontal centre of the breadboard.
We learn how to properly wire components together. When putting parts on breadboard, you must concentrate on their connections, not their positions on the circuit diagram. Place the chip in the centre of the breadboard and work round it pin by pin, putting in all the connections and components or each pin in turn.
What we did was we also learn about Microchip and their I/O pins. We learn what do each pin do in a 555Timer Chip.
